The Wader API Is Live: Connect AI Agents and Apps to Your Logbook

Your logbook holds years of flying. Now you can do more with that data than simply view it in Wader.
The Wader API is now available to Wader PRO members, letting you connect AI agents, roster apps and your own tools directly to your logbook using a personal access token.
Want to analyse your flying with AI? Automatically sync your roster? Build your own dashboard? You can now do it all without manually exporting and importing your flights.
Talk to your logbook with AI
Connect an AI agent to Wader and ask questions about your flying in plain language. For example:
“How many hours did I fly on the A320 this year?”
“How many night landings have I done in the last 90 days?”
“Show my PIC time by aircraft type since 2020.”
“Which airports did I fly to most last year?”
Your AI agent can retrieve your flight data and calculate totals, break down your experience and identify trends. No need to export spreadsheets or work through the numbers yourself.
Your flying history becomes data you can explore simply by asking questions.
Let AI add flights to your logbook
The API can also let an AI agent add flights to Wader, provided you grant it read-and-write access.
Give your AI agent a roster, a spreadsheet from your airline or scanned pages from an old logbook, and ask it to turn that information into flight entries. Instead of entering every flight manually, you can let AI do the initial work and review the results in Wader.
Always check your entries before signing them. Signed flights are locked and cannot be changed or deleted through the API.
Any AI agent or assistant that supports connecting to a web API can potentially work with Wader.
Sync your roster app
Roster integrations can send your scheduled flights to Wader automatically and update them with actual times when that information becomes available.
If an app sends the same flight again, Wader updates the existing entry rather than creating a duplicate. It also preserves the information you’ve added or changed manually.
That means less repetitive data entry and a logbook that stays up to date as your roster changes.
Build your own tools
The API isn’t limited to AI agents and roster apps. Developers can connect Wader to their own applications and workflows.
For example, you could:
Export your flying history to a spreadsheet for further analysis.
Build a personal flight-hours dashboard.
Create scripts to process your logbook data.
Integrate your flights into other tools you use.

How to connect
Getting started takes just a few steps.
Open Wader on the web. Go to logbook.waderaviation.com and navigate to Profile → API access.
Create a personal access token. Give it a name, choose which data it can access (flights and previous experience), select read-only or read-and-write permissions, and set an expiry date.
Connect your app or AI agent. Copy the token into the application you want to connect to Wader.
Tip: If you only want to ask questions about your flying, choose read-only access. Only grant read-and-write permissions to apps that need to create or update flights.
API access is also coming to the mobile app with Wader 5.0, under Settings → Connected apps.
You stay in control
Your logbook contains personal and professional information, so API access is designed to give you control over how your data is used.
Your account stays yours. Tokens only provide access to your logbook within their permitted scope. They cannot change your account, password or subscription.
Signed flights stay locked. No connected app or AI agent can modify or delete a signed flight.
Deleted flights stay private. Deleted flights are never shared through the API.
You can manage access. Review which app each token was created for and when it was used. Revoke a token at any time to stop that app from accessing your logbook with it.
You decide which apps can connect, what data they can access and what actions they can perform.
🇧🇷 Flying for GOL, LATAM or Azul? Meet CrewSync
CrewSync, developed by App Comin, is a Brazilian crew app that imports rosters from GOL, LATAM and Azul. It’s also the first roster app integrated with Wader.
Connect CrewSync to your Wader account once, and it can automatically:
Sync your flights: Send flights from the previous 30 days through the next 60 days to your Wader logbook.
Update actual times: Update existing entries when actual flight times become available.
Avoid duplicates: Recognise previously imported flights and update them instead of creating new entries.
You can continue adding your role, landings and remarks in Wader as usual. CrewSync preserves the information you enter manually when it updates your flights.
To use the integration, you’ll need Wader PRO and CrewSync Premium.
