Importing your previous logbooks

You can import your previous logbooks into WADER and consolidate all your flight experience in one place.

Once you are set as a new Wader user, you might want to bring your flights that are logged in a different logbook or provided by your airline or flight school system.

We are able to help you with that, depending on the format and where your current records are. Find the options below and, once you got the right file, simply send it to help@waderaviation.com informing from which format it is and we will take care of it for you in no time!

If you are sending the file from a different email from your Wader username, inform us also your referral code, so it is easier for us to find you!

LogTen Pro

To import your data from LogTen Pro, first of all, make sure that your settings are as follows: go to Account > Settings > Display Options and select "Time Format" as "Hours:Minutes" and confirm that the "Use Zulu (UTC) Time" option is enabled.

Then go to the Reports tab of your LogTen application (it is available in both mobile and desktop versions), then select Exporters, and generate the Export Flights (Tab) report. Make sure to select this one and not the Dynamic Export Flights.

mcc / crewLounge PILOTLOG

If you have access to myCrewLounge portal, go to your profile and select the option to export your database records from PILOTLOG as CSV and JSON file.

If you still use the old mccPILOTLOG desktop application, go to the Query tab, define a date range (or simply leave it blank) and click on Search. You will get an option to Export Data. Select the option to save the report as CSV (if not available, choose the Excel format).

To import your data from RB Logbook, go to the More tab of your RB application, then select Import & Export Data, and look for the Export to CSV option. Define the period you want to import to Wader and generate all the available report types: Flights, Aircraft and People.

Others

We always try to add more options here, but due to lack of output standardization, we are unable to automate imports from some logbooks, such as Safelog, FlyGO, ZuluLog, and others.

If you have your hours logged in any logbook besides the ones listed, you may try to transpose them to our spreadsheet template.

💡 You may also consider getting a dedicated help with it through our PRO plan!

From other systems (airlines, flight schools, CAAs)

🌐 AIMS / eCrew

Export your logbook file from AIMS using the CSV format. If your version of AIMS limits the date period for export, you can export multiple files and send it to us.

🇷🇺 Aviabit

For Russian airlines using Aviabit, send us the CSV file generated by the system.

🇧🇷 ANAC (SACI)

Currently, the Brazilian CAA (ANAC) doesn't offer any integration that allow us to automatically retrieve your records from the digital CIV. So, to be able to import your digital CIV to Wader, you should follow these steps:

1) Log in to the ANAC system (https://sistemas.anac.gov.br/SACI/)

2) In the left menu, select CIV -> Declaração de Experiência de Voo

3) At the bottom of the page, you will find the option to export your records

This will generate a file (.xlt format) that you can open/edit with any spreadsheet program (such as Excel). You will notice that it doesn't include all relevant information for your logbook, such as start and parking times, PIC name and, most importantly, the aircraft type.

Due to that, you will need then to transpose this data to our spreadsheet template and manually include the missing data. Once done, just send it to help@waderaviation.com, and our team will import it for you.

💡If you would rather have someone to help you with this manual process, you may consider checking out our PRO plan, which includes priority support and additional services beyond the core logbook functionalities, including Custom Previous Experience Imports 😉

🌐 FlightLogger

To import your logbook entries, first go to My program page. Then, click in the Reports tab and then select the Logbook option. In the Logbook page, define the date interval that you want to export, then click in the Export as button and select the option for CSV (Excel).

1) Insert your RE or ANAC code, username and password

2) Select the desired period

3) Check the option to include the crew onboard (so we can import your flight crew too!)

4) Make sure to select "UTC" for the time zone

5) Then click in "Imprimir"

6) Once your roster is generated, select the option for PDF

Note: Since this system from Azul is brand-new, they are still improving it, so it may take us a while to import from it, as some issues may happen and may need adjustments 🙃

🇧🇷 GOL Linhas Aéreas

To import your previous experience from GOL, you may need to get the monthly reports from CrewLink. To do so, go to the portal and select the "FT Record" option in the lateral menu. Then, select the desired month and hit "Generate Report".

Then download each generated report and send them to us.

NOTE: the consolidated file from the roster ("ESCALA") cannot be used because it doesn't come with mandatory logbook information, such as aircraft registration.

🇦🇪 Emirates

To get your EK hours, go to the portal -> all apps -> flight time report. When you load the period you want to import to Wader, on the top right corner of the table, there's a button to download the spreadsheet:

🇺🇸 United Airlines

Open your ezccs app and open the logbook option. Click the share button and select the “export text file” option. Then send us the generated text file.
